OOh! More "Cottage Food" Testing...

I had a few more ideas for cupcakes that I really wanted to test so this weekend was dubbed "cupcake weekend"! We made some mini lemon cupcakes topped with cream cheese icing and Master Dutch ordered vanilla with vanilla frosting and vanilla filling. Ooh-Ahh! I purchased a decorator pen--SO COOL! It doesn't hold a lot of frosting but it is so much easier than working with a pastry bag. I was able to swap out the decorator tips so easily and clean-up was a snap. The bad new is.... I think I ate too much frosting, UGH!

In total we have 24 mini cupcakes, 12 large cupcakes and 24 little bundt cakes too. SO much stuff, we're taking samples to my aunt, mom and brothers tomorrow. PHEW! There's no way we were going to eat all of it. I think they all turned out pretty good, but I'm sure I'll get the offical review tomorrow when we deliver the goods to the official tasters.
