We're a family of three: Farmer Dave, "The Farmers Wife" (that's me) and our lil'tater Sawyer, a.k.a. Dutch, plus two cocker spaniels (Ruby & Olive) and our newest addition "Baby Barley" (a cocker spaniel/mini dachshund mix puppy -- otherwise known as a "docker") with a big plan to build a little farm.

 

As a kid I worked at the Schumacher corn stand in Grand Blanc, Michigan. I have such great memories from those summers... We're hoping to make this farm into more memories of our own.

 

The plan is to stay small but have lots of variety. Follow along here with us as we purchase the "farm", plot out the land, plant the crops and harvest our bounty... We're starting with 5 acres of overgrown shoulder high jungle weeds... Wish us luck!
