The Strawberries have been PLANTED!

Horray! We received all 500 strawberry plants right on time… PLUS 50 raspberries & 50 asparagus! The great news is the weather cooperated and both the strawberries and raspberries got in the ground today. We started at around noonish and finished around 3:30ish… All went well and even Dutch pitched in a hand! We’re not exactly sure what we’re going to do with all those strawberries (according to my math we should harvest around 337-675 lbs of berries), I suggested JAM but Dutch has other ideas, he says, “lets sell them in the front yard”. First we have to make sure the critters don’t find them and eat them as snacks and we have to get the well in so they can be watered… More to come on that front! Happy Easter everyone!
