The Blueberries are IN!

We received our shipment of Blueberry plants from West Michigan and all arrived in perfect condition. They are 3 year old plants and look AWESOME! Farmer Dave went to work and got them all planted within a day. We started off with 24 plants (3 different varieties), 8 early, 8 mid & 8 late season. What’s kinda funny is that the “early” is only 1 week difference from the “mid” which is only 1 week difference from the “late”. All our varieties are expected to be GREAT producers with 10-20 lbs per bush when fully grown. We’re hopeful to get a crop this year too–but substantially smaller of course…

We’re planning to expand the patch next year to triple the size so we should be “rollin” in berries by Spring of 2016!
