COUNTDOWN to Closing!

Just a few more days until we close on the farm. We’ve been in contact with the Township about having a driveway installed… Farmer Dave is going to call again on Monday to “get us on the list” so we can get started. We need our driveway so we can get in there and start clearing the shoulder high grass/weeds. Our hope is to mow down the whole thing (except for the Raspberries of course) and plan where to put our strawberry plants. We might be a little too ambitious as we’re hoping to get in a 1/8 acre of crops this fall so we can have a harvest next year. According to the math that will mean 1361 strawberry plants, YIKES!
